The previous email database was heavily hit and required boosting with local audience. With only 5,222 subscribers and limited segmentation. It was difficult to grow the sales teams reach and voice in the localised market.

Effective Segmentation

Creating campaigns that aligned to landing pages saw growth in sales across the e-commerce and trade sales. Educating a disinterested database, turning the woeful 3.4% open rate to 27% within 9 months. These statistics were transformed into industry leading open rates and improved sales and helped brand recognition and perception of the brand as industry experts. 

Account Based Segmentation

Account based segmentation was set up to support the sales team hit the most profitable sectors. I set up automation campaigns drip feeding training and campaign teasers, follow up and post-purchase feedback. These campaigns were based upon a wide set of factors from seasonal trends of product purchase, current stock to CRM data insights and web sales trends.

Improved email communications was cited as one of the key motivations for employees at one organisation to stay admist a buy-out. It gave security to those retained and helped with faster more accurate information.

Enabling and reminding the teams across 120 sites about the Employee Assistance Programmes and support they could access 24/7.  

Email for Introducing Senior Management

By adding personalities to the emails, it helped staff feel more connected to the Head Office team, often working in silos these communications had 74% average open rate for the year, the industry average for 2023 is 20.2% according to Campaign Monitors industry benchmarking. 

Email to Reduce Admin Requests

I added the ESS logins to the monthly comms to reduce the emails to HR about what the URL was. I also created an easy to remember 301 redirect on our site to avoid the complicated and impossible to remember URL. 

Content Calendar For Employee Wellbeing

An annual content calendar was created to ensure a wide and rounded wellbeing programme was being covered. Campaigns included financial, mental health, bake-off competitions, team walking competitions, healthy eating campaigns, we also partnered with the EAP provider for monthly themes like the one shown about financial wellbeing.
