Experience running a digital agency for 4 years I delivered projects for M&S, University of Portsmouth and various trades companies. I have a wide breadth and depth of knowledge across digital and print. My staff and I delivered projects across direct mail, email, telephone and digital ad campaigns always providing reports on campaign successes and improvement opportunities.

Direct Mail
Effective at producing direct mail campaigns, using InDesign scripting and partners to deliver personalised and tailored messaging.

Having built many websites and launched many e-commerce sites, I am a safe pair of hands delivering growth on the site. A methodical and strategic approach to growth and Conversion Rate Optimisation, starting with the basics of gap analysis, improving cross-sell and email automation and SEO.

Solid background at running events, conferences, demonstration days for trades teams either at client locations or hired venues. Recently completing Meon’s largest hosted event for contractors, showcasing new line marking paints and machines.

From sparkies, builders, plumbers, architects, surveyors and groundsworks teams. I’ve delivered marketing projects for the trades to help them gain work and credibility. 

Strategic Graphic Design
A Marketing Manager who can both design and develop projects ensuring they are measured and optimised to get the best return on investment. When you run your own agency you need to be able to back up why projects have taken the shape they have and remain results focused. I am very competent designer able to train team members on Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign and XD. 

Video

Video has been increasingly key on my projects and I can shoot, edit and distribute video, demonstrated by the increased subscribers on Meon’s YouTube, with an increase of +753 in one month taking us over 10,000 subscribers and over 5 million views.

Case Studies

360° Tour videos and photos

A Night at the Natural History Museum was one of our key case studies for Coopers Fire (the inventors of Smoke and Fire Curtains), it opened so many doors for us with organisations like the National Trust. The 360° tour also let us showcase how fire curtains can be hidden away when not in use, and that they are trusted by some of the most iconic buildings in the world. It also gave a blueprint on how case studies should be done. We got photos, videos and the 360° tour all in one night.

Videos and Knowledge Base Creation
Knowing our audience was key in creating a series of how to guides for concrete repair systems. I also created a digital knowledge base with step by step guides, and cross sell opportunities. It helped with engaging with our practical audience, with printable step by step guides and an easy search function. I coded this in-house saving us any external costs, and it could be hosted on our existing hosting. 

Trade videos and photos

I have created and launched over 80 products aimed at the trade sold at Screwfix, Toolstation and RS Components. These launches included creating photos, videos, packaging and POS materials. If you pop-in to a Screwfix or Toolstation you’ll probably still see some of the products I launched being sold. 

Professional Video

I enjoy getting out and about getting my hands dirty to get videos for our customers. I organised the video, workers, materials, tools, site locations and the complete video production. 

App visualisation

I created this concept app video to get buy in from our suppliers, customers and the company board to gather feedback and test the concept. I created the visuals in Adobe XD, and it enabled the team to get buy in and progress the project.  

Maximising Reach
Ever the opportunist I managed the visit of Secretary of State for Defence, Penny Mordaunt to attend Meon’s Head Office. As Marketing Team Leader at Meon I organised the event delivering presentation materials, staff cheat sheets and PR from the meeting as well as securing some strategic goals for industry contacts and opening discussion about innovation adoption for new more eco-friendly paints being adopted across the UK. It also helped with SEO obtaining Government backlinks to our website.
