Andrew Jones
A Google certified, Head of Marketing experienced in managing design, websites, teams and budgets, balancing creativity and data seamlessly.
I’m a creative and strategic marketer with a strong design background and a passion for telling stories that resonate. Over the years, I’ve worked with some fantastic brands, including Costa, the Professional Footballers’ Association, and the Natural History Museum, producing everything from video content and full-funnel campaigns to websites, printed materials, and digital tools.
With over 15 years of experience in digital project management, I bring a hands-on approach to design and delivery. I’m highly skilled across Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, XD, Premiere), web platforms like WordPress and Shopify, email and video (editing and shooting), enabling me to take ideas from concept through to execution. Whether it’s building a brand identity, developing visuals for campaigns, or designing user-friendly digital experiences, design is at the heart of what I do.
Backed by a 2:1 Business Studies degree and qualifications in PRINCE2 Agile® Project Management, Google Ads, Analytics, Hubspot, and AAT Accountancy, I combine creative thinking with commercial insight to deliver work that’s both impactful and measurable. I’m comfortable leading teams, managing budgets, and getting stuck into the details, always focused on delivering high-quality work that meets the brief and exceeds expectations.

Sectors I’ve worked in…
A Night at The Museum
Taking the initiative to bring fresh ideas to life, I led the Night at the Museum campaign in collaboration with the Natural History Museum, one of the UK’s most iconic and beloved institutions. I developed the concept to highlight products usually kept out of sight, offering audiences a unique behind-the-scenes glimpse that resonated deeply. I set about an ambitious vision to create a 360 degree tour around the historic building never done before. The campaign raised the bar for the quality standards that I expected for each campaign, establishing a blueprint for excellence for all our future case studies.
The campaign delivered impressive results, achieving a 42% engagement rate, the highest organic performance to date and record-breaking click-through rates. This success helped foster valuable conversations with senior stakeholders at National Trust projects and played a key role in winning work with other prestigious historic buildings.

My experience spans taking products from concept through to market, developing go-to-market strategies, positioning, packaging, sales enablement, training, and customer communications. This includes launching specialist fire safety products, such as fire curtains requiring rigorous certification and compliance standards, which are now installed in some of the world’s most prestigious buildings, including Buckingham Palace and the Natural History Museum.
I have also led the international launch of 100+ products, working closely with global distributors to develop co-branded and region-specific solutions that meet local market needs. My work has covered a broad portfolio, from professional trade tools, paints, and lighting products to healthcare innovations, including medical products, clinical procedures, dosage applications, and SaaS solutions for healthcare organisations.
Across every launch, I focus on bridging the gap between product, customer, and market ensuring products are not only successfully introduced but are clearly positioned, understood, and adopted by the audiences they are designed to serve.
Technical Print Management

Google Analytics and PPC Certified
Good projects are driven by good data. I am Google Analytics and Google Ads certified, and my projects reflect strong statistical analysis and actionable insights. I then roll up my sleeves and get the work completed, on time, on budget, and to specification.
Background in Web Development
I started my career in web development as a junior developer, crafting websites agency-side. I’ve managed and implemented e-commerce systems and over 100 web development projects, from apps for radiotherapy dosage calculators to custom-built CMS systems. Whatever the digital project entails, my projects run on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations.
Email and CRM Marketing
A cornerstone of my background began with a transition from web development into marketing. I learned to design and code emails, combining creativity and technical skill. Over the years, I’ve used all major email campaign platforms, Campaign Monitor, Mailchimp, CheetahMail, Dotdigital and CRM platforms, Pipedrive, Hubspot, Dynamics, OpenCRM and Apollo.io.
I have also set up Klaviyo for integration into an e-commerce website, always with the goal of growing audience numbers, increasing conversions, and using email automation and customer segmentation to achieve a strong return on investment.
Video Production
Video has become increasingly key in my projects. I can shoot, edit, and distribute video, demonstrated by increased subscribers on Meon’s YouTube channel, with a growth of +753 in one month, taking us past 10,000 subscribers and over 5 million views.
CMS and E-Commerce Systems
Experienced with a variety of e-commerce and CMS platforms across projects, including WordPress, Magento, NetSuite, and Shopify. I also co-created a custom Content Management System called MannaTree, built on Twitter Bootstrap. At the time, it was one of the first responsive CMS systems.
Maximising Engagement Through Segmented Automation Campaigns in Engineering
In the engineering sector, developing targeted segments for automation campaigns has been instrumental in driving both engagement and measurable results. By carefully analysing customer behaviour, industry-specific needs, and decision-making patterns, distinct segments were created to ensure messaging was highly relevant and tailored to each audience type, whether potential clients exploring new solutions, existing customers seeking upgrades, or technical professionals requiring in-depth product information. This approach not only supported the launch of new products through integrated microsite campaigns, email automation, and PPC advertising but also helped elevate performance significantly, with average email and automation campaign open rates rising from 3.4% to 27% within just nine months. Alongside these segmentation strategies, the development of a new e-commerce website further enhanced campaign effectiveness by delivering a seamless user experience, improved SEO visibility, and a complete visual overhaul that aligned with modern digital expectations. Together, these efforts ensured that automation campaigns were not only data-driven and strategically segmented but also supported by a robust digital infrastructure that amplified visibility, engagement, and conversion across the engineering sector.
